ABOUT US & OUR TEAM

Meet Renee: Founder/Owner

Silly Spoons started as an idea to combine my background in education with my desire to create an engaging environment for children in the kitchen. In a short time, it has turned into far more than I could have ever imagined. The opening of a second Bucks County location in December 2023 has been a dream! I am beyond grateful for the support and opportunity to continue to provide memorable experiences for local children and their families.

When I’m not managing all the business endeavors, you will find me at home with my husband, 4 boys, and toy poodle. I look forward to the warmer months and spending time at the beach. I enjoy sharing meals and new experiences with my family. Of course, my favorite activity is baking!

Meet Kerri: Operations Manager/Lead Instructor in Warrington

When I’m not teaching at Silly Spoons you’ll find me with my pup, sitting in the sun, or catching a local yoga class. I’m a big sister and proud aunt to the most special kiddos! I come from a big family and am always one to count on for the most delicious baked goods and savory dishes. So it’s no surprise that my favorite place is the kitchen, where I am always whipping up something new. I take great pride in providing an exciting and creative space for every child to explore their curiosities in the kitchen.

Meet Alyssa: Lead Instructor in Newtown/Warrington

When I’m not teaching at Silly Spoons, I am working towards my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Global Business and Leadership at Rowan University. I am excited to be graduating this May! I love to bake, play sports, hike, camp, and travel. My favorite part about working at Silly Spoons is having the opportunity to engage with all the kiddos, fostering their knowledge and creativity one tasty treat at a time!

Meet Ameerah: Lead Instructor in Newtown/Warrington

I am currently a nutrition major at LaSalle University. I am the President and CEO of the Women’s Volleyball Club and I work closely with other organizations in our school. My end goal is to be able to help people heal through food and heal their relationship with food. I enjoy painting, working out, playing volleyball, and museum dates. What I like best about working at Silly Spoons is being able to provide an intimate space where everyone can enjoy our activities and learn something new. Plus it's cool to see how surprised everyone is when they realize just how good our recipes are.
